Summary
A brief description of the manga Tenkaichi: Battle to Decide Japan’s Strongest Martial Artist: 1600 year. 10 years have passed since Oda Nobunaga unified Japan. But he is getting old, and he feels that death will soon overtake him. But he is not interested in giving the country as an inheritance either to his own son, or to any of his relatives, or to any of his associates. The last thing the shogun wants to see is a fight. A fierce battle between martial artists for the title of the strongest and power over the country – “Tenkaichi”, a tournament of the strongest martial artists in Japan. And only to the one who wins the final battle of the tournament, the old Nobunaga will hand over the land of the Rising Sun.
There are 16 applicants for the role of ruler, and a series of battles will decide which of them is worthy of being called the strongest and ruling a united Japan.
